There have been a barrage of comments passed on various web sites and social media platforms that there has been a successful release of the next iOS jailbreak. Evad3rs, which are the main group known for reliable jail breaks have not announced this to be the case which has raised some suspicion around the claim.

There are a number of fake groups that are claiming to offer much improved jailbreaks which have been sending out press releases to various media. These groups have been quickly exposed a fake. There was a price tag attached to one press release between $29.90 and $49.90 which immediately sounded the alarms since jailbreaks have always been provided free of charge.

Techie News reported that the press release that they received said that the jailbreak included iOS7.0.3. Here is a snippet of the published press release;

“The iJBP iPhone Jailbreak allows for iPhone models of the latest iOS 7 and iOS 7.0.3 to break free from Apple restrictions. With the enhanced Jailbreak software, two-thirds of iPhone owners who have upgraded to the latest iOS can enjoy their mobile device to the fullest.”

It has been claimed that the jailbreak covers the iPhone 5s. It is well know that jailbreakers have been having difficulty with devices beyond the iPhone 4 which has made the whole thing even harder to believe.

Unfortunately there are going to be a few more months of waiting for anyone wanting to jailbreak their iPhone. Up to now, every other source have been identified as scammers and therefore Evad3rs should be considered the only trusted reliable source.
