Receipt Bank launches new iOS app

Last week saw the official launch of a new mobile iOS app by receipt and management software company Receipt Bank.

For those unfamiliar with the company, Receipt Bank aims to take the headache out of processing expenses and keeping receipts by using technology that extracts key information from receipts uploaded (via email or from a scanned copy).

Perfect for businesses, but also for households if you’re looking for an efficient way to keep track of all of your bills and expenses.

Receipt BankThe process has just got simpler with the launch of the new app, which replaces one originally launched back in 2012. By using the Receipt Bank app you can take a photo of the receipt and then upload it directly to your synced online Receipt Bank account, as well as to various other accounting software platforms.

You can also add information to any receipts uploaded, view all data that’s been extracted from the photos of the receipts and assign each receipt to specific projects or clients.

It’s a nifty money management tool but it does come at a cost – £9 (ex VAT) per month for single users. However, there’s a 14 day trial currently being offered so it’s the perfect time to try it out for yourself before deciding whether to continue with the service.

Download the Receipt Bank app for free today from the Apple App Store.
