Mobile publishing platform AppsBuilder has recently announced a new round of funding from Venture Capital Firm United Ventures.

This latest investment takes the total funding for AppsBuilder up to $3.5 million, allowing the company to consolidate growth and to increase it’s staff-base. The growth has been remarkable since AppsBuilder first launched just 3 years ago in 2011, now serving over 1 million members worldwide.

We’ve seen a continued rise in similar platforms emerging, all hoping to capitalize on the consumer shift to using smartphones for internet browsing and online shopping. With Nielsen reporting that 89% of our time is now spent browsing via mobile phones, this growth is only set to continue.

Daniele Pelleri, CEO and Co-Founder of AppsBuilder believes that ‘AppsBuilder fulfills the increase demand from enterprises and small businesses to build and market their mobile presence.’
