Blackberry 10 deviceBlackBerry has announced today that it will be launching six BlackBerry 10 devices in 2013, targeting 3 different markets, 2 top end phones, 2 mid and two low.

The information which was supplied to Pocket Lint ealier today is the first confirmed release information to comr directly from RIM.

The first two phones, as reported by us at the beggining of July will be 1 all touch device thought to be code named the ‘London’, with another QWERTY keyboard phone thought to be called the ‘Nevada’.

Rumoured BlackBerry 10 Features

New BlackBerry 10 devices are rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Qualcomm’s S4 Pro MSM8960T processor, the chipset will be clocked at 1.5GHz, will support 3D gaming, beyond 1080p display resolutions, and LTE on-die and advanced multitasking. By all accounts it seems they are going to be very powerful devices.

We have already reported on the fact that the devices are going to supported BBM Video, a very powerful photo editing suite with similar filters to Instagram, and a very responsive intuitive keyboard.

I hope the hype is substantiaited and the Apple monopoly is threatened by BlackBerry as this can only be good for consumers, as long as Apple dont claim to be the inventors of the on/off button it might just happen.
