Outlook.comIntegrating Word, Excel, Powerpoint and a new photo viewer, Microsoft have launched a Gmail killing new email service called Outlook.com.

Outlook.com replaces Hotmail

Oulook.com is an online replacement for Hotmail and has a much cleaner, clearer design, Hotmail has had a few re-designs, makeovers and face lifts in the last few years, none of which have enabled it to compete with the big boys, but it seems that Microsoft have made the brave decision to completely replace it with a spanking new service.

Outlook.com features

Outlook.com includes free online versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote, and has the ability to see status updates and content from Facebook, Twitter and the like. Microsoft also plan to integrate Skype to allow video chat and messaging.

Outlook.com will also integrate SkyDrive, microsofts cloud based storage solution.
