Windows 8 phones seem to be getting the backing of all the big device manufactures with HTC unveiling it’s Windows 8 offerings today the HTC 8X and HTC 8s, (main image) which as you can see bear more than a passing resemblance to the Nokia Lumia 920.
The 8X has a larger 4.3-inch screen, while the 8S has a 4-inch screen
No pricing has yet been annoiunced by HTC but the phone is rumoured to be launched in November.
The Nokia 920 which is getting great reviews and for many of it’s features and coming out top dog up against the new iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy s3, also has a little brother the Nokia Lumia 820 which has a different design with interchangeable covers a smaller screen size and a cheaper price tag.
Samsung is rumoured to have 5 or 6 Windows 8 devices ready for the October launch and also news of a Windows 8 tablet. The only Samsung windows 8 phone announced so far is the lovely ATIV S Smart phone.
The ATIV S has a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of on board RAM, and an 8MP auto focus camera.
